This headamp is based on Tangent's PINT. But since I am not using SMD parts, it is a little bit bigger. A 2200uF capactior is added at the wall-wart socket to help to smooth out the ripple. Also, as I added another LED to indicate the wall-wart power, an extra 1N4148 diode is needed before the regulator.

Update: The orignal configuration created too much background noise. Tangent has since updated his site to include another configuration using resistors with lower resistance values and removed the input capacitors. This is similar to the Mini^3 config. I have also re-configured mine accordingly.
